Road Rally! (or was that a "foot rally"?)

These two put their heads together and made a plan

Oh oh! Never let your opponents see you. Watch out they are right behind you!

Aah, a place in the shade to think. This team is well on their way!

Did you see anything down there?

That rest in the shade paid off. They found the golden bow!

They found the pumpkin and the santa! Two holidays done.

If I were a work glove where would I be? The hunt continues.

A tired but happy group ready to head back to the library.

With promises of ice cream what could be better?

Deep concentration here.

Smiling faces all around!

Remember next week is titled: "Secret Mission". After much discussion at the ice cream bar it was decided that everyone would wear a costume. So be prepared lest you be without the proper attire or you'll have to wear something that is here at the library. Hmmm that could be interesting.

See you Tuesday at 12:30!

Mystery Destination: India!

The music gave the destination away. India!

to Keith Urban in Hindi was an experience.

Now this is the way to eat rice!

Visiting nearby Indonesia they were able to make "Batiks". Chris worked on a NASCAR theme, while Julia focused on everything purple.

Winners of the "Weeks Away" Contest!

Coming Tuesday 26th Road Rally !!
You won't want to miss the adventure.

Scotland and Scones

Scotland was our destination and what better way than to start off with a bit of music.

After being inspired by piper "Burns" it was time to make some scones.

Baking is serious business!

There were three teams of scone bakers: The Highlanders-

The Lowlanders

                                                    The Boyz-( The Kiltz)

Each team did a great job-
the Highlanders scones were the most moist.
The Lowlanders scones were savory and a bit salty.
The Boyz who had the same recipe as the Lowlanders were delicious-
the only way to declare a winner -- toss the potholder!
Lowlanders won the toss but everyone made scrumptious scones.
