Bats! Bats! Everywhere!

Everyone was captivated. The Organization for Bat Conservation did a great job educating the group.

Say "cheese" please.

First you cross their legs... then their wings...

and you end up with something like this.

Just "hanging" around like bats do.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see the bats.
Learning about things that can scare us makes us less afraid. The more we know the more we grow!

FALL LINE UP CONTINUES...

                            "Fall Story Time"
             3 1/2 -5 year olds continues Thursdays at 10 a.m. through 
        November 10th. Each session will last approximately 35 minutes.


                                     "Halloween Party"
                              Monday, October 31st 12-1:30p.m. 
                         6th grade up welcome-costumes required.
                   Will it be a trick or a treat that you receive? Hmmm.


In November-
                           "Armada Historical Society"
                    Meets the first Wednesday of every month at 1:30 p.m.
                           
                               "Armada Book Discussion"
                                 Tuesday, November 15th at 1p.m.
         The selection for November is, "American Wife" by Curtis Sittenfeld.
               Call the library and place a hold on this item today if you 
                            would like to join in the conversation. 
                          
                         "Armada Genealogical Society"
                               Wednesday, November 16th at 10 a.m.

Armada-geddon pole decoration!

The weather was beautiful for Saturday's decorating of the pole. 
The teens decorated using two different themes this year. 

One a student who is "geeked" about books!

The other was a 'library witch' who will no doubt swoop down to see what everyone is reading!

Don't let either one keep you away from the library. Their 'scare' is worse than their bite!

Geek Continues!

If you haven't been in yet come on in and write what you "geek".

Look how our "geek wall" has grown!


We have some pretty interesting "geeks" around here. Someone loves housework- another books-
retirement, sleep and sand boxes have found their place on the "geek wall".
